Description

Recall the urging of St.John Paul II "that we need to understand Advent and Christmas not simply as the time of Jesus' birth, but rather that our whole life must be an 'advent', a time of watchful waiting for the final coming of Christ. Source NCR 1-5-03.

I feel that I often search through a thicket of everyday life to see the Advent light. So as a reminder to myself, I've embedded dozens of stars in my thicket to express my hope for the final return of the Messiah, the Advent light of the world.

My photograph has been enhanced with enhancing filters to finish in a painterly and textured style.
