Description
This bumpy, textured, gnarly tree stands at Priest Point Park in Olympia, Washington. It's a facinating park because the trees are mostly old growth and it's like stepping out into hobbit-land.

Absolutely wonderful - it does look like a hobbit should live there. The old growth forests in the Northwest are truly magical places and you've done a great job capturing the feel here. v/f

Jean, like viewing a cloud formation, one can imagine different images. I wonder if anyone else sees a bear's face looking straight at us, about 3/4 of the way up on the right side. vtd

Loving your trees Jean. I really like these old gnarled trees. Beautiful rich color and details. I really like the border treatment also. v/fav
